For FCSO employees, service means much more than just a job. A large number of team members grew up in the same neighborhoods they currently patrol as deputies.

Community service isn’t just part of our job, it’s a way of life and a responsibility as contributing members of society. Working with others who take that commitment seriously is just one thing that makes the FCSO family truly different.

Thanks to this, FCSO has been pleased to welcome a wide array of team members from all walks of life and parts of the country who have found their home in Forsyth County.

From the lively downtown scenes of Winston-Salem and colleges and universities in the area to rural communities which act as picturesque representations of the friendly South, Forsyth’s population is vibrant and diverse. FCSO honors this, and is proud to have a team that respects and reflects the community it’s a part of.

In an effort to best serve the community, FCSO proudly participates in a large number of community events throughout the year. From the Por una Vida Mejor festival to Career Days and Coffee with a Cop, we pride ourselves on being available, personable and professional at all times.
